My interest in weather began in 2010 when Snowmaggeddon hit the DC area. I was in a fierce debate in my sixth grade English class about how much snow would fall. I guessed 17.1 inches for the city. The final total was 17.6. That’s when my love for weather began. I was the school’s weatherman from seventh grade to my senior year. I did not have a Twitter page or know much during that time so I mainly predicted when we would have a snow day.
I attended Fairfield University in Connecticut with a degree in politics and environmental studies. I become significantly more involved in weather when I created my Twitter page in September 2017. I joined the school’s television program as the weatherman, giving weekly forecasts. Since then I have vastly expanded my knowledge on meteorology. Every time there is a storm, I report in the field. Snow, rain, ice, wind, coastal flooding.
I have storm chased in the Great Plains in May 2018-2019,and 2022. We were able to see the 2022 Morton EF2 tornado in Texas. My favorite type of weather is severe weather because I love the excitement of the chase and I feel comfortable forecasting it. But I like everything to be honest. I attended Salisbury University in my home state of Maryland with a degree in climatology. I am currently recovering from a very rare neurological condition called CIDP. In the future my goal is to get a job that has to do with meteorology.
I love running, swimming, photography, and the beach. I completed the 2022 Philadelphia Marathon. It was tough weather, but glad I did. Welcome to my page!
